The Ruffian is our first CJRB model, designed in collaboration with Dirk Pinkerton. This compact Wharncliffe-style knife strikes the perfect balance between three worlds. While small in size, the Ruffian's wide blade and razor-thin edge enable it to cut like a much larger knife. The Ruffian offers something for every situation, making it a versatile and reliable companion.

As a great lightweight EDC (Every Day Carry) knife, the Ruffian features a 3-inch blade, slim G10 scales with inset liners, and a fidget-friendly thumb hole. It also serves as an excellent backup tactical option, with its low-profile and aggressive Wharncliffe blade providing easy concealment and effective use in emergency situations. Additionally, the Ruffian is an ideal daily work knife, as our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel is tough enough to handle demanding tasks.

Blade

The Ruffian's blade is constructed from our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel, which offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This makes the Ruffian the perfect choice for an everyday carry knife that will remain strong through all of your adventures.
